10 year old Memona is a student at the Alternative Learning Programme (ALP) centre in Killi Rehmatabad, Quetta. There, students who have never enrolled in school or dropped out due to access constraints get to learn for the first time or complete their education.
With generous funding from the European Union, the Balochistan Education Support Programme has improved and sustained access and quality of primary and middle level education for over 400,000 children, out of which more than 160,000 are girls.
