#BitcoinPolicyShift President of the United States Donald Trump signed a decree to establish the Strategic Reserve of Bitcoin, which will be formed from confiscated state digital assets.

It is reported that the reserve will be formed from bitcoins that were confiscated as part of criminal or civil asset forfeiture procedures.

According to Sachs, the US government owns approximately 200,000 bitcoins, although it acknowledges that a full audit of these assets has never been conducted.

In addition, the ministers of finance and trade have been instructed to develop budget-neutral strategies for acquiring additional volumes of bitcoins. "An important condition is that these measures should not create additional costs for taxpayers," emphasized Sachs.
