Chairman of AI & Crypto at the White House, David Sacks revealed that over the past 10 years, the U.S. government has sold approximately 195,000 BTC, totaling 366 million USD.
He quickly calculates that if the U.S. had held onto this amount of Bitcoin until now, it would be worth over 17 billion USD. According to him, this is the price that American taxpayers have to bear, simply because the government has no long-term plan for digital assets.
