Canada is participating in negotiations with the United States to eliminate tariffs. These negotiations include U.S. President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who discussed the possibility of removing the tariffs imposed by the United States on Canada.
Earlier, the United States imposed a 25% tariff on imports from Canada, and Canada responded by imposing the same rate of tariffs on American products valued at $107 billion. However, talks between Trump and Trudeau opened up the possibility of eliminating these tariffs and strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
In addition, the United States has postponed the imposition of tariffs on Mexico and plans to talk with China about postponing the 10% tariffs that were scheduled to be imposed.
