A new claim has come to the fore regarding the crypto reserve announced by US President Donald Trump on Sunday. According to Unchained, Ripple Labs is presenting a team reserve plan that includes proposals to Trump for the inclusion of SOL, which includes CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty.
The news, based on two sources who wanted to remain anonymous, noted that Ripple aimed to make XRP seem appropriate to be added to the reserve. Including SOL in the reserve will also help show the message Ripple wrote in the lobby about creating a reserve that includes US-based tokens. On the other hand, the account at home did not fit the market. The announced reserve created questions, errors, and even became a subject of ridicule due to the addition of XRP, SOL and ADA in addition to Bitcoin.
“I would prefer not to create a reserve”
On the other hand, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko said he would prefer not to create a reserve at all. Yakovenko responded to Unchained’s report, saying, “If a reservation needs to be made, it should be based on objectively measurable requirements. I don’t care what they are, they can only be created in a way that Bitcoin can currently meet, they should only be objectively measurable and justifiable as payment. If there is a goal to be achieved, the Solana ecosystem will achieve it.”
All eyes are now on the crypto summit held at the White House on Friday. The market is eagerly awaiting any changes regarding the cryptocurrencies to be added to the reserve. David Sacks, the White House’s crypto chief, said what he does in his current days and that details on the subject will be announced on Friday.
