#TrumpCongressSpeech Trump boasted about the "swift and relentless actions" of his administration and bragged that he had signed almost 100 executive orders and over 400 executive actions since taking office six weeks ago.

He bragged that he withdrew the USA from the Paris Climate Agreement, the World Health Organization, and the UN Human Rights Council.

Trump praised the work of his billionaire advisor, Elon Musk, who led his administration's efforts to drastically reduce the federal government through his so-called "Department of Government Efficiency." He warned that employees who oppose his administration's policies would be fired.

Trump stated that the USA would take "historic actions to radically increase the production of key minerals and rare earths" and said he was working "tirelessly" to end the "brutal conflict in Ukraine."

Trump announced retaliatory actions just hours after the start of a trade war against three of the USA's main trading partners: Mexico, Canada, and China. "No matter what tariffs they impose on us, we will impose tariffs on them," he said, adding a caveat that "there will be some confusion... it won't be too much."
