Cryptocurrency fraud. Did the funds return to Binance only to vanish into thin air?

A client of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance contacted our editorial office, having fallen victim to spoofing. Scammers impersonating platform employees stole from him. The funds could not be recovered, even though the criminals transferred some of them back to Binance, and customer service assured that they had been frozen.
