Binance to remove USDT and several other stablecoins in Europe
Binance plans to delist Tether's USDT for customers residing in the EU to comply with MiCA. European users will still be able to withdraw assets until midnight on March 31.
Most major exchanges delisted USDT once MiCA passed, but designated sell-only transactions are still allowed until the end of Q1 2025. Circle may have an opportunity to further increase its market share in Europe.
