"Trump instructs the Presidential Task Force to promote strategic reserves of cryptocurrencies including XRP, SOL and ADA."
I think this is nonsense!
It started when I was chatting under another post. A friend asked me which value coins I was optimistic about, so I started this discussion.
I think ETH is more suitable for reserves than SOL, because Solana is currently a meme chain and has no sufficient value support at all. If other types of products are developed, it is not development-friendly, not as friendly as sui/atpso.
I feel that XRP is not as suitable for reserves as LTC, because LTC is a pow consensus, it has value support and a relatively higher degree of decentralization.
I feel that ADA is not as suitable as EOS. Although the EOS ecosystem has not taken off, the underlying technology is actually quite good. EOS is also from the United States, and its volatility is smaller than ADA.
It's not that these three are better than the other three, but that they are more suitable for strategic reserves. If it comes to trading, then xrp, sol, and ADA are indeed better. So I feel that this so-called promotion may be to create favorable conditions for his trading!
The most important thing is - if you really want to make strategic reserves, do you have to have a certain complementarity with the US dollar and the US economy? As a result, the US project was selected as a strategic reserve... What is the meaning of this reserve?
Strategic reserves should have at least 3 factors: one is that the volatility should not be too large, the second is that it should not be highly correlated with the United States, and the third is a high-speed decentralization. BTC meets the last two. If the first one is met, the volatility should gradually decrease.
But ADA XRP SOL... Rather than saying it is a strategic reserve, it is better to say it is a strategic pull...
