The Smart Contract Fund by Grayscale has disclosed its latest altcoin purchases in its portfolio as of March 1, 2025:
Aave ($AAVE ): 20.25%
Cardano ($ADA ): 11%
Avalanche ($AVAX ): 7.24%
Sui ($SUI ): 6.50%
Polkadot ($DOT ): 2.51%
It seems that Grayscale is making a strong bet on these altcoins, and they have sold a significant portion of their $BTC holdings. This does not mean that Grayscale lacks confidence in Bitcoin, but it appears they sold a large part of their BTC to invest in altcoins.
