When to accumulate if not now? A practical guide for long-term believers
As a long-term ETH investor, I believe now is a great time to accumulate coins.
Look further ahead; in the long run, Ethereum is severely undervalued. Whenever a potentially valuable asset is heavily FUDed and abandoned by the masses, it is often a good time to position yourself.
How to improve the capital efficiency of the ETH you hold? Here are two tips:
1. Flexible staking: Both exchanges and on-chain protocols offer flexible staking, with annualized returns of 1% to 3%, allowing for deposits and withdrawals anytime. Don't be greedy for high annualized returns by locking up your assets. Otherwise, during a price surge, you can only watch the price rollercoaster and lose sleep over it. Flexibility first, steadily earn small profits!
2. Staking to borrow (advanced): What to do if the price drops to your target but you have no USDT? Use staking to borrow some USDT to increase your position, keeping the ratio within 40%. Make three separate purchases to diversify your average entry price. The borrowed ETH can be used in two ways: you can put it back into flexible staking to reduce the interest on the borrowed USDT, or you can stake it into the lending pool to lower the liquidation risk. It's advisable to set the liquidation price at an unreachable level to ensure you achieve ultra-low leverage.
Someone asked me if I'm worried about ETH being replaced?
Data from DefiLama tells you: over half of the TVL is still on Ethereum, and big players are not leaving. What are you afraid of?
