Here’s the Tether Dominance (USDT Dominance) chart. I usually keep an eye on TOTAL2 (total market cap excluding BTC) and TOTAL3 (excluding BTC and ETH), but for me, Tether Dominance is the most reliable. Lately, it’s been spiking like crazy, smashing through 5% (a psychological resistance line) with a strong bullish candle. (My altcoins are kinda screwed right now, lol.)
Now, the 1.5-year long-term trendline (around 5.1–5.5%, I’d guess) is the key level to watch. Historically, it’s always made a wick here and dropped back. Will it hit resistance and fall back into the triangle, or break out and turn into support? I think this could be a turning point for Bitcoin’s direction.
Usually, when Tether Dominance climbs, BTC either consolidates or dips, and alts get wrecked even harder. Will it be different this time? What do you guys think?
