I have been full-time in the cryptocurrency space for 7 years, and I've basically become disconnected from society. I can't tell others what I'm doing, so I usually just say I'm trading stocks. My parents don't even know that I no longer go to work; only my wife and a few people from my mother-in-law's family are aware. The last four years have mostly been spent at home taking care of the kids, relying solely on holding a little of $BNB , along with the occasional airdrop, which is enough for living expenses.
.
I just don't know how to introduce my profession when the kids grow up a bit! Once they understand things better, my current state might not be a good example.
.
My passport and Hong Kong/Macao travel permit are about to expire. Today I went to renew them, and the staff asked about my profession. I said I was a freelancer, doing part-time work, and she wanted to see my transaction records and part-time chat history. There were only withdrawals, so I couldn't show her anything. I didn't have any chat records either, and I don't have employee social security. Later, I checked my stock account, which barely got into the system. She said the approval authority wasn't with her, and if it didn't go through, it would leave a record.
.
I don't plan on going abroad; the passport is just for some projects that might need it, and the Hong Kong/Macao travel permit was meant for when I have time to apply for a Hong Kong card. It seems I need to do something to give myself an identity.
