『Aya Miyaguchi plans to transition to the chairperson of the Ethereum Foundation!』

Vitalik (V God): A year ago, Aya first proposed the idea of transitioning from the Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation to the President.

During her seven years as Executive Director, she achieved many accomplishments. In my view, the role of the ED is to create an environment where others can shine and perform at their best; therefore, every success of the EF, such as the steady execution of Ethereum hard forks, client interoperability workshops, Devcon, Ethereum's culture, and its firm commitment to its mission and values, is, to some extent, a result of Aya's management.

Aya Miyaguchi will continue to support the EF in many of the same ways in her new position. Meanwhile, we have been working on a new leadership structure for the EF and will share more information soon. Stay tuned!
