eXch angrily denounces money laundering accusations: Who is muddying the waters after the 1.4 billion theft of Bybit?
On February 21, Bybit's cold wallet was hacked by the Lazarus Group and 1.4 billion elephants were stolen, and the crypto circle was in an uproar! eXch was pushed to the forefront, and ZachXBT and white hat hacker Nick Bax accused: This exchange laundered 35 million for the North Korean gangsters, and accidentally leaked 34 ETH (96,000 dollars) to other hot wallets.
SlowMist added: The amount of ETH exchanged on eXch is amazing! But eXch was not happy, and roared on Bitcointalk on February 23: "We didn't launder money for Lazarus, and the funds are safe!" They admitted that the black money flowed through the address 0xf1da, but insisted that it was an isolated case and the fees would be donated, and they were stubborn.
Bybit was anxious, froze 42 million stolen funds, and asked eXch to help plug the leak. But eXch turned its back on them and exposed an email accusing Bybit of freezing its own user funds last year, which damaged its reputation. Why is it asking for help now? CEO Ben Zhou shouted anxiously: "This is not a personal complaint, it is a life-and-death battle for the industry!" Bybit, whose assets have shrunk by 5.3 billion, is in danger. Which side are you on? Do you believe in the innocence of eXch, or do you suspect they are hiding something fishy? Can this 1.4 billion pit be filled?
