It seems to me that people are the dumbest creatures. We are always ready to buy more expensive than when it is really worth its money. Why? Why do we miss the moments when the price is still low, and then rush to buy when everything has already taken off?
Let's take cryptocurrency. At the time, no one believed in it when it was cheap, no one appreciated the chance. But as soon as the prices started to rise, that's when it all started! Everyone rushed into crypto, started buying at the peaks, when it was already obvious that this was not the best time to buy. Why, tell me? When it was at an affordable price, we all sat on our hands and waited, thinking that it would fall even lower. And when it started to take off, everyone decided that this was their chance, as if it hadn't been obvious from the very beginning.
Why does this happen? We don't appreciate when there is an opportunity because we don't understand its true value. We always think that it will get even cheaper and wait, and in the end, the price rises, and we are left empty-handed again. People love to buy when everyone around is already in the know, when crypto has already risen significantly, and not when it could still be bought cheaply. Why? Because everything that is cheap, we consider uninteresting. Until there is a hype, there won't be value.
We are so strange. Instead of buying crypto when it's cheap, we wait until it becomes expensive and is overshadowed by all sorts of loud news. And this happens not only with cryptocurrency. We always wait for the chance to come later. And then it's already too late.
We need to learn to appreciate the moment when everyone is asleep and understands nothing, because that is when the opportunity may be the best. But no, we will again wait until the price skyrockets and think, 'Now we will buy!'. And in reality, as always, we jump on the last train.
This is how we, people, live. Everything that matters, we miss out on, and when it becomes loud, we run with the crowd. And this habit, unfortunately, is not only in crypto.
