• Log in to your account and enter the contract trading page

Open the Binance official website or app, log in, click the "Derivatives" or "Contract Trading" module in the top navigation bar, and select "U-based Contracts" or "Coin-based Contracts".

  • Locate target trading pairs

Find the currency you want to query in the contract market list (such as BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT), and click to enter the trading interface of that currency.

  • View real-time funding rates

In the "Funding Rate" column on the right side of the trading interface, you can see the current rate value and positive or negative status. For example, if it shows "+0.0100%", it means that the long position needs to pay the short position this proportion of fees; if it is a negative value, the opposite is true.

  • Historical rate query

Click the "Details" button next to "Funding Rate" to view the historical rate change curve and specific settlement time points for the past 24 hours to 30 days (Binance usually settles three times a day, at UTC 0:00, 8:00, and 16:00).

  • Rate calculation logic

Binance Funding Rate = Premium Index × (Interest Rate/3), where the Premium Index reflects the degree of deviation between the contract price and the spot price. A positive rate means that the contract price is higher than the spot price, and longs need to pay shorts; a negative rate means the opposite.
