Manta Gas Gain is a unique initiative by Manta Network designed to reward active users on its Manta Pacific platform, which is a modular Layer 2 (L2) scaling solution on Ethereum.
The Gas Gain program takes 50% of the gas fee profits generated on Manta Pacific, converts them into MANTA tokens, and distributes them among the top 400 most active users every two months, known as an "epoch."
On top of that, there are extra MANTA token rewards added to the pool to sweeten the deal.The idea is to encourage participation on the network—no sign-ups or extra steps needed, just regular on-chain activity like transactions or interactions with supported applications.
Users can check their ranking and rewards on the Gas Gain interface (you might want to look up gg.manta.network for the latest details).
This program kicked off in late September 2024 and is planned to run for four years, with Epochs already underway
