An important phase in every Bitcoin cycle is the accumulation around previous price highs. BTC usually consolidates for a period of time before the next uptrend begins.
In 2013, this phase lasted very briefly.
In 2017, only a few weeks.
In 2020-2021, this process lasted about eight months.
In 2024, this accumulation phase seems to last longer again. The current sideways movement could indicate that the uptrend is still developing.
