#ActiveUserImpact Users are currently selling Pi quickly because, following the recent mainnet launch, many early adopters who accumulated large amounts of Pi during its "mining" phase are now rushing to cash out their holdings on exchanges, leading to a significant sell-off pressure and a drop in the Pi price; this is often seen with airdropped cryptocurrencies where large quantities of coins are released into the market at once, causing a rapid price decline.

Digital currency analyst Kim H Wong highlighted the trend in a post on X, "Trading in Pi is disappointing as pioneers keep selling and buy orders are small (highest 1K Pi, on average a few hundred Pi). No big capital is in sight. However, this can also be looked at as positive, as sellers exhaust, and buyers jump in, price should go back up again.”
