Monad is building a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain for the next generation of decentralized applications, with the mission of accelerating the disruptive power of decentralization by creating a blockchain that is 100 to 1000 times faster than its closest competitors.

In the months before and after the New Year, airdrops have indeed been scarce. Now, the Monad testnet is here, and this financing-level L1 project has long been on my list. Previously, they were focused on ecological development, and today they officially launched the testnet.

A few points to note beforehand:

① For this level of L1, I just entered and interacted a bit. The interaction with the testnet app and activity is indeed considerable work. As today is the first day, I haven't fully figured it out yet. Here, I'm just pushing the project to everyone; once I understand it better, I'll release a detailed guide.

② Before the testnet launch, active wallets were automatically airdropped the test token MON. Newly registered wallets definitely won’t have it. Everyone can check if they have it after logging in; currently, the official website is very laggy with many users rushing in. I haven't succeeded even once all day; fortunately, there is an automatic airdrop for active wallets.

③ To achieve good rankings and points in app interactions and various activities, there will be costs involved, and the amounts won't be small; it's not free.

Log into the website and bind your wallet (you can check if your wallet has received the automatic airdrop tokens): https://testnet.monad.xyz/

After logging in, you can see the content of the testnet interactions.

Claim test tokens, trade, build your fantasy top deck (a points ranking system), and explore the Monad ecosystem's app.

Claim testnet tokens (it can be seen that everyone is participating in the witch measures here). If your Discord has a full access role (the DC community needs to be active; I usually don't have time for that), you can claim 5 MON at once.

If your wallet is active and has more than 0.01 ETH on the mainnet, you can claim 2 MON each time.

Other wallets can claim 0.05 MON each time.

Once I figure things out, I will release a more detailed tutorial. Everyone can also research it on their own for now.

Apart from the automatic airdrop from my wallet, I also awkwardly chatted with group MODs to get a bit more; I can barely make it work, sorry 😢. #空投大毛
