Many people want to convert oil into RMB in Hong Kong and then bring it back to the mainland, or sell oil in Hong Kong and transfer it back to a bank account in the mainland. Simply put, it is impossible to withdraw money from Hong Kong and bring it back to the mainland. Hong Kong regulations and domestic foreign exchange controls limit the maximum amount that can be transferred back to the mainland.
