The 0.2 Pi price covers all related fees. Although this amount is slightly above the fair market value (FMV), it is justified because Pioneers did not need to pay upfront; they simply signed contracts committing to pay after Pi’s migration. Capital’s willingness to accept full Pi payments at this time, before the official main launch (OM), is driven by the potential for significant profits. The belief that Pi’s value is fixed at $314,159, as noted in the GitHub code, contributes to this perception of minimal risk. This can be called time value. As long as Pioneers are notified of these additional fees, it is a fair trade-off for both sides.
