🇻🇳 Vietnam proposes to allow cryptocurrency transactions at financial centers starting from July 2026.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment is gathering opinions on the draft resolution of the National Assembly regarding the establishment of regional and international financial centers. The draft proposes to apply a controlled experimental mechanism (sandbox) for fintech models, including cryptocurrency asset transactions.
🔹 The Financial Center Management Committee will have the authority to license, supervise, and assess risks related to cryptocurrency trading platforms.
🔹 Cryptocurrency asset trading at financial centers will be implemented from July 1, 2026.
🔹 The regional center is located in Da Nang and the international center is located in Ho Chi Minh City.
It is expected that the Government will present this draft resolution to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 9th session in mid this year.
