This is what happened to me yesterday.

I was contacted by someone from a number that is not on my friends list. He called me several times and I did not answer because of the random calls that scammers make. I thought he was one of them, but he was a different man; a big businessman who was very kind to me.

After repeated attempts to contact me and I refused to answer, he sent me the following message:

Dear, I am Edward Knopf, a Canadian businessman and representative of ETI Technologies. I have tried to contact you but you have not responded. Please call me as soon as you get a chance, or visit me at my office in Vancouver House Tower at 11:00 am (best time). I have good news for you.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and have a nice day."

I read the letter once, twice, three times, and reread it many times.

I did not believe what was in it, but after consulting a close friend, who has extensive knowledge of business and a list of the names of the most important Canadian businessmen, he confirmed the correctness of the name and encouraged me to go according to the address.

I hurriedly had breakfast and headed straight to the tower. I went up to the fortieth floor and arrived at the specified address and agreed time.

I was surprised by his warm welcome, then he said to me: Please sit down and pointed with his hand towards a luxurious sofa.

He asked me: What do you drink?

I said: Whatever, it doesn't matter to me.

He took a bottle of whiskey out of the fridge, brought two glasses, and sat down on the chair opposite me.

Before he opened the bottle, I apologized to him and said: Sorry, I don't drink alcohol. I prefer coffee or tea.

Very politely he put the bottle of whiskey back into the fridge and ordered the maid to make a cup of coffee.

He asked me where I was from?

I said: From Yemen?

He said: How long have you been here in Canada?

I said: Two years.

He said: Where do you live, and I gave him my address.

After a deep sigh, he said to me: I will go straight to the point.

I said: Go ahead.

He said: I transferred $250,000 to your account by mistake. Only one number is different between your bank account and the account of another businessman. I don’t know how I made this mistake.

He added: My dear, there is no law here that forces you to return this money to me, and I preferred to reach an understanding with you in a friendly manner.

I think you should take 25 percent of the amount, which is $62,500, and return the remaining amount to me voluntarily.

What do you think?

I apologized to him and refused categorically, and said to him: My dear

Since this amount has reached me and is so simple, you have to bless me. This money is a gift from God to me.

He smiled broadly and said: Why don't we make a compromise?

How? I asked him.

Reply: 50% for you and 50% for me.

Without hesitation, I agreed, returned the money to him with a quick transfer from the app, and left his office immediately.

I went to the bank, and decided at that moment to withdraw $50,000 in cash.

I received the money, put it in a tight bag and before I left the bank gate, I felt a huge object fall in the room directly above my room.

I woke up scared, and suddenly I heard the young Indian woman who lived above my room screaming and singing loudly.

A young woman bothered me a lot. She sang all night long, in the kitchen, and in the living room. Most of the time she spent singing and dancing. She turned my life into hell.

I felt a great sense of oppression from her that I had never felt before, as if she was the one who had stolen the money from me, not a dream.
