Binance will delist AMB, CLV, STMX, and VITE.
The price of VITE has dropped by 30%; AMB, CLV, and STMX have fallen by 13%, 6%, and 11%, respectively.
The cryptocurrency exchange will remove trading pairs from the spot platform on February 24.
The new week begins with announcements of delistings on Binance. Four tokens are under threat.
On February 24, trading pairs with the following altcoins will be removed from the Binance platform: AirDAO (AMB), CLV (CLV), StormX (STMX), and VITE (VITE).
Binance periodically checks the performance of trading pairs listed on the platform. Before making a delisting decision, the exchange analyzes a number of factors, including the level of development activity and its quality, as well as the stability of the network and smart contracts.
“When a coin or token no longer meets our standards or the situation in the industry changes, we conduct a deeper analysis and may remove them from the listing,” the exchange's blog states.
By February 24, users need to close all trading orders on AMB, CLV, STMX, and VITE. Otherwise, they will be forcibly removed.
Starting February 25, Binance will stop accepting deposits in the tokens selected for delisting. Withdrawals will be available until April 24. After this date, they will be converted into stablecoins.
The cryptocurrency exchange team also stated that it will remove perpetual contracts for AMB and STMX. This will happen on February 21.
