I think that the transfer of $ETH to PoS was a mistake. Miners left the ether, because of this, the key amount of ether has accumulated in a few hands and only they are validators, all small players have left. Something tells me that this is the reason why Ethereum does not show peaks today and stands still. Let's hope that I am wrong.
