With the official launch of Pi Network approaching, many users are wondering what its price will be once it becomes fully tradable. Given previous major airdrops and new blockchain launches, the outlook is not entirely promising.

If airdrops are any good indicator of the upcoming Pi Network launch, some of the most exciting airdrops in recent years, such as PENGU, BERA, and BLAST, have experienced significant price drops after launch. However, there are exceptions, with Hyperliquid standing out as one of the few that has maintained strong price levels.

The movements of Pi’s IOU price offer some insight into how the market is valuing the token ahead of its official launch. While there were brief spikes where prices reached levels close to $90$ and even $100, these were isolated events and not ongoing trends.
