1. Tokens heavily promoted, widely publicized about their launch event (Example: CZ's Dog)
These are launches that everyone can foresee. The best Snipers with the best tools are ready, although there is high liquidity, who does everyone think will win? To win, one needs:
- Has in-depth experience in the field, excellent skills and execution capability to compete (most people do not have this 👍 )
Patiently timing to invest a significant amount and having faith to HOLD, while most retail has been shaken out (this is super hard)
Most traders underestimate the difficulty of these types of games. The hype attracts both retailers and pro players, turning it into a true zero-sum game (the nature of meme already is a zero-sum game) where weak hands, retailers are quickly wiped out.
2. Clone tokens, repeating a trend or a hot coin (Example: After $TRUMP -> $MELANIA -> $CAR -> $LIBRA)
These are copy tokens, each iteration is weaker than the last. Liquidity decreases and insiders (dev, sniper, game creator) should understand the process better - improving execution, speeding up capital withdrawal, and becoming greedier with each cycle.
- The first launch catches players off guard, creating the greatest opportunity.
- Each iteration places "history" in everyone's mind, limiting potential price increases and creating psychological ceilings.
- Traders feel they bet too little the first time, so they increase size to compensate - ignoring the fact that the risk has now increased exponentially.
Greed and bias dominate. They are chasing what they "missed" before, not realizing they are entering a sharper, faster, and more predatory game. Easy money only exists in the initial surprise rounds - when no one realizes what could happen. Once the pattern is established, it is just a playing field where small fish are EATEN FASTER.
