SEC Accepts Applications for Dogecoin and XRP ETFs
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has acknowledged Grayscale’s 19b-4 filing for two cryptocurrency ETFs, one for Dogecoin (DOGE) and the other for XRP. Both filings call for the conversion of two of the company’s funds – the Dogecoin Trust and the XRP Trust – into ETFs.
This acknowledgement does not formalize the applications as ETFs, but it paves the way for a possible approval of the fund.
