Why does the “buy low and sell high” strategy not work with some traders in crypto?
Despite the simplicity of this rule, it is ineffective in the cryptocurrency market, and may even lead to huge losses if applied unconsciously. Here are the reasons:
1️⃣ Impossibility of timing the bottom or top accurately
Even professionals cannot consistently identify the lowest buy point or the highest sell point.
🔹 Example: When the price of $BTC dropped to $15,000, some expected further decline. When it reached $30,000, others waited for a new decline. Today, as it approaches $100,000, some are still hesitant!
