🚫 My Biggest Trading Regret – Learn from My Mistake! 💸
Every trader has that one trade they wish they could take back, and for me, it was buying $SOL at $245. Here’s how I got burned, what I learned, and how you can avoid making the same mistake.
📉 The Setup: FOMO Took Over As a beginner, I got swept up in the hype. Solana was on fire, hitting new highs daily, and everyone was calling it the next Ethereum. I kept waiting for a dip, but it never came—until I gave in at $245, thinking it would hit $1000.
💀 The Crash: Reality Strikes Not long after, the market took a nosedive. Bitcoin dropped, and Solana followed suit: $200… $150… $100… and eventually, $8. The worst part? I didn’t sell at $200, $100, or even $50. I didn’t believe in Solana at that point, but I was frozen by the massive loss. Selling just seemed pointless.
🛑 What I Learned (So You Don’t Make the Same Mistake) ✅ Avoid Buying During Peak Hype – When everyone’s bullish, it’s often time to take profits, not jump in. ✅ Don’t Hold Blindly in a Crash – I should have taken partial profits or set stop-losses rather than riding it all the way down. ✅ Market Cycles Take Time – Solana eventually bounced back, but it took years. Had I sold near $200 and bought back at $10-$20, I could have 10x’d my portfolio.
📌 How I Trade Now I buy dips and scale in gradually. When I see a parabolic move, I take profits—even if I think there’s more upside. If I’d done this at $245, I could’ve bought back at $10 and turned my losses into huge gains.
