A new battery could revolutionize the future of electric cars: here's what we know about the QuantumScape prototype.

Electric cars have been at the top of the consumer choice list for some time now, as they allow for great savings without skimping on the aesthetics of the product. QuantumScape, which has always been an expert in the production of electric vehicle batteries, is also addressing this aspect.
The company has committed to the creation of a prototype battery called B QSE-5 which, in fact, is free of anoid metals and lithium. This means marketing safer batteries that can last much longer and that for this very reason can allow for great savings.
As if all this were not enough, the batteries in question can be easily removed when they stop working and can then be recycled to give a new use. Obviously this is a noble project but, like all these interventions, we must not only focus on the pros but also on all the obstacles that could arise along the way that will allow the achievement of this goal.
Electric car batteries will bring a breath of fresh air to the market
According to what was stated, one of the elements that must be taken into consideration is precisely the cost that will allow experts to have the technology needed to create this type of device. At the same time, there could also be repercussions on the sale of electric cars as these, following this improvement, could cost much less than today, allowing a lower profit for all the companies that market them.
In any case, this is a big step forward because it will revolutionize the aesthetic panorama through ecological practices that could open the door to new paths. As always, we must dwell on the limitations that could arise from this type of choice because, according to a study promoted by Toyota, there are great challenges in the electric market and it will be difficult to maintain the ranges that we have achieved today in terms of the sale of these vehicles. In the meantime, experts are dedicating themselves to the study of these new batteries, in order to make them sustainable and further expand the market of the electric automotive panorama.
