In 2025, the chances of SEC approval for a Litecoin ETF reached 90%. This opinion was shared by Bloomberg analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas. They predict that Litecoin has a better chance of ETF approval than other cryptocurrencies such as XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin. The probability of approval for exchange-traded funds for these coins is estimated by analysts to be 65%, 70%, and 75%, respectively.

In the case of Litecoin, forms S-1 and 19b-4 have already been submitted and accepted, increasing the chances of approval. Despite lower demand for a Litecoin ETF compared to Bitcoin and Ether, its launch could prove profitable for some asset management companies, even if the instrument attracts only $50 million. The SEC is expected to make a decision on the Litecoin ETF by October 18, 2025.
