VanEck predicts how much Solana will be worth by the end of the year
According to the manager's estimate, SOL's market capitalization could reach US$250 billion — more than double the current one
VanEck, a global investment manager based in the US, published its forecast for the price of Solana (SOL) on Thursday (6) on X, predicting that the cryptocurrency could reach US$520 by the end of this year, reaching a market capitalization of approximately US$250 billion.
This means more than double the current market of US$98 billion, which keeps the cryptocurrency in 5th place among the most important virtual assets. As of Friday morning, SOL is trading at around $200.

According to the post, the VanEck team’s analysis relied on an autoregressive (AR) forecasting model — which predicts future behavior based on past behavior data — and valued Solana based on its projected year-end market share on a smart contract platform.
According to The Block, VanEck analysts have made unrealistically high price predictions in the past.
