France Announces €109 Billion Artificial Intelligence Investment

🗞On February 10th, French President Macron declared that the French artificial intelligence industry would secure €109 billion (approximately $112.6 billion) in private investment.

Macron characterized this investment as comparable to the US's announcement of the $500 billion AI investment project "Stargate." France's investment will incorporate contributions from UAE, US, and Canadian investment funds. It will also involve the participation of French companies like Iliad, Orange, and Thales. The UAE intends to invest €300 billion to €500 billion in France to establish a one-gigawatt AI data center.
