Did you know that people's irises are being scanned in some countries in exchange for cryptocurrencies?

It's not really news that the traditional financial system is being replaced and updated by cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.

What's interesting is that, in some countries, the company Worldcom (crypto WLD), co-founded by OpaenAI CEO Sam Altman, has been performing iris scans in several countries (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, the United States, Germany, etc.) and offering cryptocurrencies in exchange for biometric data.

The iris is a unique and permanent biometric identifier, which means that, unlike passwords or other data that can be changed if compromised, once iris data is exposed, there is no way to replace it. This can lead to serious problems of identity theft and misuse of information.

In addition, the collection and storage of this data by companies could result in the creation of a centralized database of identities, raising concerns about mass surveillance and unauthorized use of the information.

Conspiracy theory? It seems not…
