Since its listing in 2017 on Binance, this is the journey of Ethereum ($ETH ) so far.
It reached its all time high $4868 in November 2021. And currently, it is trading at around $2600. Generally, it is said that never buy a coin when it is at its all time high (#ATH ). Now that Ethereum is almost trading at half the price of its all time high, I believe it could be a great long term investment.
But here is how much you would have earned if you had invested $1000 in #ETH in December 2020 when it was trading at around $150 per coin.
A thousand dollar investment would have bought you (1000/150 =6.667 coins). Each coin is now worth $2600 which means your portfolio would be worth (6.667*2600=17,334.2 Dollars). A massive 1630% increase.
Now imagine what would happen if in 5 years its price shoots to $10,000 (an increase of 285%) ⁉️⁉️
