We have witnessed in these past days a steep drop of Bitcoin to $91,231.00, it was expected that it would not be less than $95,000.00 but this did not happen. Many people, especially those who just entered, the newcomers who were just starting to buy BTC and Altcoins were the most affected, losing more than 50% of their portfolio due to FOMO and in the worst cases losing it entirely. This is an activity that repeats itself time and again after some time; not everyone can understand this process, it is very difficult, but this is how the cryptocurrency market works. You can make a lot of money, but you can also lose; it requires being consistent, persistent, following the market as closely as you can, studying, gaining knowledge, and experience. What we have gone through with the market drop gives us that experience to know where we are situated and what measures we should take the next time it happens, but this has already passed.
Now, we are waiting for that great takeoff 🚀 of BITCOIN and the ALCOINS. While it is true they have risen 75% after the big correction, then in these days they have decreased to a little over 65%. This is due to many factors, among which we can mention: The technological war between the U.S. and China, the increase of tariffs imposed by the U.S. on Mexico, Canada, and other countries, and the lack of a clear commitment from Donald Trump to support the development and viability of the cryptocurrency market has brought this great stagnation of BTC and the Altcoins. But all this reminds me of BTC's past, its evolution since 2009, 2012, 2015, the pandemic, the war between Russia and Ukraine, the wars in the Middle East, not long ago the collapse of the Japanese stock market, etc.
None of this prevented Bitcoin from reaching $100,000.00 in December of last year, and likewise, none of these things we are experiencing will prevent BTC from reaching $120,000.00 and more... it is a matter of time, patience, and not allowing bad news and FOMO to make you lose your positions and thus exit the market at a loss.
