The deputy stated that in the face of governments that promote inflationary policies, Bitcoin becomes a decentralized alternative that is resistant to state manipulation, functioning as a "citizen's weapon".

Eduardo Bolsonaro spoke again about the cryptocurrency market and defended Bitcoin as a tool to protect citizens' purchasing power against economic policies that, according to him, devalue the national currency.
In a post on X, he recalled how he discovered Bitcoin during his postgraduate studies at the Mises Institute Brazil, when he read “Bitcoin: Currency in the Digital Age”, a book by Fernando Ulrich.
Since then, he said he has been following the sector more closely and highlighted the growth of Brazilian initiatives in the area, such as the memecoin PatriotaCoin.
💰 “It is interesting to see Brazilian initiatives gaining space in this sector, especially with the development of technological solutions and artificial intelligence”, he said, indicating that he intends to continue studying and monitoring the progress of the crypto market.
Study about cryptocurrencies
The deputy also stated that, faced with governments that promote inflationary policies, Bitcoin becomes a decentralized alternative that is resistant to state manipulation, functioning as a “citizen’s weapon”.
He used the fluctuation of the dollar as an example, stating that the variations in the US currency are a reflection of the economic decisions of the Lula government.
For him, the devaluation of the real is a symptom of political choices that end up directly penalizing the population.
📉 “If you are upset about the dollar’s fluctuations due to Lula’s actions, you will understand me,” he said.
In addition to criticizing the Brazilian government, Eduardo mentioned that Bitcoin has been defended internationally, including by Donald Trump, President of the United States.
According to him, the debate on cryptocurrencies has become a global issue linked to the preservation of individual freedom and the financial security of the population.
Finally, the deputy encouraged his followers to study cryptocurrencies and better understand the impact that these new technologies can have on the economic future.
Bitcoin, which has already overcome several crises and regulatory challenges, continues to be a bet of resistance against state interference.
Renato 38 comments on Eduardo Bolsonaro's post and warns that politicians against Bitcoin could lose voters
Responding to Eduardo Bolsonaro's post on X, Renato 38 (@R38TAO), known as the greatest Bitcoin educator in Brazil, commented on the electoral impact of politicians' stance on Bitcoin.
According to him, anyone who takes a stand against cryptocurrency could lose 10% to 20% of voters already exposed to the asset.
“Trump had to embrace BTC to win with a majority,” said Renato, pointing out that Donald Trump’s embrace of the crypto sector was not just an ideological issue, but a strategy to secure support from a growing base of voters who value financial decentralization.
In addition, Renato harshly criticized the Brazilian government's measures that, according to him, violate citizens' privacy and restrict individual freedoms. Among the points mentioned, he cited:
IN 1888 – The Federal Revenue Service’s Normative Instruction that requires cryptocurrency brokers to report all user transactions. For privacy advocates, this measure represents a violation of the individual’s financial autonomy.
PIX and banking secrecy – Renato points out that the instant payment system, widely adopted in Brazil, has eliminated financial secrecy, allowing the government to monitor all transactions with ease.
My Gov and biometrics – He also criticized the federal government's digital authentication system, which requires biometrics to access public services. In his view, this creates a system of control and surveillance over the population.
“Gynofascist laws” – Although the term is controversial, Renato suggests that some legislation would have created privileges for certain groups, while restricting the freedom of others.
🔹 “Enemies of freedom are enemies of BTC”, concluded Renato, stating that politicians who defend a stronger State and greater control over the economy tend to oppose Bitcoin.
For him, statists, disarmament advocates and corrupt people tend to reject decentralized cryptocurrencies and prefer state projects such as so-called “central bank cryptocurrencies” (CBDCs).
