you're doing spot trading .(buying low selling high).
but in other forms of trading you buy low and sell high👆or sell the price when prices are dropping 👇like future trading.

I only make profits when I either buy a coin in dip then sell off when price increases.

It suggests making an entry at a higher price like $3.05 and take profit at a lower price like at $2.9
