In October 2024, Bitwise filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch an exchange-traded product (ETP) that provides direct exposure to the XRP token.
In addition, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expressed his belief that an XRP ETF will soon become a reality, especially after the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs.
He expects the XRP ETF to launch in 2025.
