The U.S. Department of Efficiency (DOGE) led by Musk stated in a post on X: "DOGE saves the federal government about $1 billion every day, mainly by ceasing the employment of personnel in unnecessary positions, eliminating DEI, and stopping improper payments to foreign organizations, all of which align with the president's executive orders. This is a good start, although the number needs to increase to over $3 billion per day."
