The Phantom cryptocurrency wallet, known for its multi-chain support for Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, has officially added the Sui blockchain to its support list.

Sui – The First Blockchain Using Move Integrated into Phantom

#Phantom has expanded support for Sui in the beta version on Wednesday, allowing users to trade and store $SUI tokens directly in the wallet. This is the first blockchain to use the Move programming language integrated into Phantom. Move was originally developed by Meta in the now-canceled Diem stablecoin project and is designed to enhance security and performance for blockchains.

Phantom's CEO, Brandon Millman, stated:

"We only integrate the strongest blockchains into Phantom, and Sui perfectly fits this criterion thanks to its high scalability and superior user experience."

Sui is Strongly Developing

  • Currently, Sui is the 8th largest blockchain by total value locked (TVL), reaching over $1.6 billion.

  • The #SUİ token has increased by 140% over the past year, reaching $3.70, ranking 19th by market capitalization.

  • Phantom users can trade SUI, meme tokens, and other assets directly in the app or browser extension.

New Features Under Development

Phantom will soon support more NFTs on Sui, funding from fiat currency, and many other features. Currently, users can activate Sui in the 'active networks' section of the wallet.

The Phantom wallet currently has over 15 million active users per month and processes $20 billion in swap transactions each year. Their biggest competitor, MetaMask, is also expanding support beyond $ETH , starting with $BTC .

With the addition of Sui, Phantom continues to strengthen its position as a leading multi-chain wallet, giving users more choices in the crypto space. #anhbacong
