$BTC 【The U.S. SEC Partially Approved an ETF That Tracks Both Bitcoin and Ethereum】According to Financial Associated Press on January 31, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission partially approved an application for a new type of exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Thursday local time, which will track the two largest cryptocurrencies. The Bitwise Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF is a fund under Bitwise Asset Management that seeks to provide investors with a market-cap-weighted balanced exposure to these two digital assets. The fund's structure will be similar to existing ETFs that directly hold Bitcoin or Ethereum. U.S. regulators approved a form named 19b-4, which is a step in the entire process that allows the product to begin trading. The registration application S-1 for the Bitwise fund still needs to be approved, and both steps must be completed to start trading.
