In 2024, Aptos TVL grew by 1,800%, or nearly 20x, to $1.2 billion, driven by increased adoption from institutions, next-gen DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and builders. The Aptos ecosystem is now home to over 330 projects and nearly 9 million monthly active users, ranking#6overall in daily active addresses. Its robust and reliable network has processed over 2 billion transactions and currently holds the top two daily transaction records of any blockchain: 326 million transactions in a single day on August 15 and 156 million in May 2024.

Aptos transaction volumes are approaching $3 billion year-to-date, with nearly $3 million in transactions in the last month alone and nearly double the $1.7 billion in the previous quarter. Aptos transaction volumes are primarily driven by LayerZero’s Stargate Bridge, with Aptos transaction volume accounting for nearly $500 million of Aptos’ aggregate TVL to date.
