#USConsumerConfidence

The index has fallen, there is panic in the news. But for no reason. This is predictable and there's nothing terrible about it.

First of all, this is only in the USA.

Secondly, they have a new president. Trump defeated his opponent in the elections by a narrow margin. The results were 49.91% and 48.43%. Half of the voters did not want to see Trump as president - it's clear that now they are feeling pessimistic.

It's no wonder that the consumer confidence index is also called the consumer optimism index. It measures how buyers feel about the present time being suitable for major purchases/investments.

The news inflated the fact of the decline because they need something to write about 🙈. And so the index fell by 3% for the first time in 6 months.

It is still very far from 50,

71 is actually very good. Most countries wouldn't even dream of such a thing 🤷🏻‍♀️ for sure.
