MicroStrategy announced that between January 21, 2025, and January 26, 2025, the company acquired approximately 10,107 bitcoins for about $1.1 billion in cash, at an average price of about $105,596 per bitcoin (including fees and expenses). The funds for this bitcoin acquisition came from the proceeds of issuing and selling stock under a sales agreement.

As of January 26, 2025, the company and its subsidiaries hold approximately

471,107 bitcoins, with a total acquisition cost of about $30.4 billion, at an average acquisition price of about $64,511 per bitcoin (including fees and expenses).
