Binance TR Women in Technology Academy Targets to Reach 2,025 Women by the End of 2025

Binance TR Women in Technology Academy, which was launched on March 8, 2023, International Women's Day, in collaboration with Turkey's leading crypto asset platform Binance TR and the Women in Technology Association (Wtech) after the earthquakes that shook Turkey in February 2023, is moving forward with firm steps towards its goal of providing crypto asset, Web 3.0, and blockchain training to 5 thousand women in 5 years. Supporting the participation of young women in the crypto asset and blockchain ecosystem throughout Turkey, with priority given to earthquake zones, the Academy has provided training to nearly 1,000 women from 54 provinces. The goal is to increase this number to 2,025 by the end of 2025

In a period when innovative technologies such as crypto and blockchain are rapidly growing and developing, this program offered by Binance TR plays an important role in shaping the future of finance and technology by including women of all ages interested in crypto assets in the sector.

According to the latest Science Report prepared by UNESCO, women represent less than a third of workers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields; this rate drops to 22% when looking at new fields such as artificial intelligence. The findings of the report emphasize the urgency and necessity of taking action for equality.

Binance TR aims to increase financial freedom by making the opportunities offered by crypto and blockchain technologies more accessible to everyone. Binance TR Women in Technology Academy also contributes to the sector becoming more inclusive and equitable by paving the way for women to lead in the crypto asset sector in Turkey.
