Bitcoin Predictions in 2025
- Jeffrey Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered Bank, said that the price of Bitcoin is expected to exceed $200,000 by the end of 2025.
Kendrick stated in a report carried by the Binance Exchange that he expects the price of Ethereum, the second largest digital currency in terms of market value after Bitcoin, to rise to ten thousand dollars.
He pointed out that investment entities such as pension funds and digital currency exchange-traded funds are likely to push the prices of many crypto assets higher.
The British bank analyst believes that the crypto assets sector will continue to recover, and digital currencies will record record levels this year, as the new US government headed by Donald Trump begins to take measures to support the sector, and amid investor optimism about implementing Trump's promises during his election campaign.
He explained that smaller cryptocurrencies could benefit greatly from new ETF approvals and regulatory changes, despite the recent downturn. Bitcoin had hit a new record high earlier this week, surpassing $109,000 for the first time in its history, in celebration of Donald Trump’s inauguration.
